Digital Marketing Intern
PETA UK has a part-time volunteer opportunity within its digital marketing team, which is responsible for ensuring maximum outreach for the organisation's campaigns and activities. The position is ideal for anyone seeking experience to further a career in digital marketing or social media. The volunteer will assist in all aspects of the programme, including assisting on PETA's vegan campaigns, maintaining PETA's activist database, developing PETA's social presence, analysing campaign successes and participating in brainstorming meetings to discuss ideas for online campaigns. The successful candidate will receive training in Engaging Networks e-campaigning software and WordPress and gain experience managing a large online community. He or she will have a strong understanding of social media, good attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, a high level of motivation and efficiency, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team and a commitment to PETA's policies and objectives. The ideal candidate should be able to commit to working two to three days a week for six to eight weeks.
Although the position is not salaried, PETA will reimburse travel costs to and from work (within London) and provide a daily meal allowance.
