Fukushima Farmed Animals Get Help

The Japanese Cabinet officially announced that the Prime Minister has ordered the Fukushima governor to euthanise all the farmed animals in the 20 km “no-go” zone. As sad as it is, the animals – many who have been without adequate food since the earthquake and tsunami in March – will finally be granted a peaceful end to their suffering.

Shocking images from the affected areas show dead farmed animals and some who have been cannibalised by others.
