Lettuce Ladies Take On Gaga

PETA’s lovely Lettuce Ladies were very visible outside Madame Tussauds today, handing out tasty vegan sausages to people queuing up for the unveiling of the new Lady Gaga wax figure. To celebrate the event, the famous wax museum offered free admission to the first 100 people who showed up to the event dressed like the rocker.

Expecting to see some attendees emulating Lady Gaga’s notorious meat dress, which she wore at the MTV Video Music Awards, the Lettuce Ladies decided to head on over to the event and spread the vegan word.

Each week, approximately 2,000 people in the UK go vegetarian. According to a recent United Nations report, a global shift towards a vegan diet is necessary in order to combat the worst effects of climate change and stave off world hunger. It is also now well recognised that a vegan diet is great for our bodies.
