Morrissey PETA UK

UPDATE: Sold! The one-of-a-kind signed hardback copy of Autobiography by Morrissey was sold on eBay for £8,300. All proceeds will go to our campaign to help prevent the slaughter of animals for meat. Our thanks go to Morrissey for the New Year’s present and to the generous fan who purchased the book!

Animals in need of help have no better friend than Morrissey. As a music icon and longtime animal rights activist, his efforts to help stop animal abuse are legendary and date back nearly three decades. In the past, he has teamed up with PETA to encourage people to adopt healthy and compassionate plant-based diets and always to have their companion animals spayed or neutered. He has even joined PETA’s fight to pressure department store Fortnum & Mason to stop selling foie gras.

Now Morrissey is at it again! Penguin Classics has just released his new book, Autobiography, in hardcover, and Morrissey has signed just one copy. He has given this unique copy to PETA, asking that it be auctioned with all proceeds benefitting PETA’s life-saving work for animals!

The book is up on eBay now and offers an exciting opportunity for fans to get their hands on a unique piece of Morrissey memorabilia while helping animals.
