For an eat-in breakfast and lunch – or a takeaway dinner – this meat-free spot is tucked away next to YogaHub’s yoga studio. So relax or catch up with friends over some delicious raw vegan cheesecakes and a variety of smoothies and hot drinks. Or take your pick from the brilliant lunch menu: enjoy a protein burger, a Mexican burrito or pad Thai.

Umi Falafel

In Dublin we found the best falafel bar ever! I'm not ashamed to admit that I visited four times in three days. This is my Palestinian falafel lunch deal at @umifalafel. If you're in Dublin you must visit. Central location on Dame street near Temple Bar and the River Liffey. Super friendly staff and reasonable prices. (Shameless promotion, I just really loved the restaurant!)

This restaurant and takeaway brings the taste of the Middle East to the heart of Dublin! That means you can load up on a variety of fresh falafel sandwiches and wraps – or go for a lighter lunch with a traditional Moroccan quinoa salad or popular Palestinian tahini salad. From the mezze, you can choose anything from stuffed vine leaves to batata hara or spicy potato wedges.

Govindas

With two Dublin locations to choose from, this vegetarian chain serves a traditional Indian cuisine and a few twists on some classics. Choose from vegetable curry served with basmati rice and a salad – or go for a homemade veggie burger made of rice, lentils, veggies, peanuts and spices, all in a homemade pitta bread.

An ever-changing menu means that everything is always fresh, seasonal and exciting here. The specials stem from its chosen grains, vegetables and houmous of the week: expect the likes of green lentil and spinach curry for dinner or a date and apple cake for a sweet treat.
