Front man Anthony Kiedis and sultry songster Leona Lewis were named the hottest of the hot in PETA's 2008 World's Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrities poll. ![]() PETA US' 2008 Winner, Shona But it's time for the celebrities to step aside, because now we're looking for Europe's sexiest vegetarian "boy and girl next door" – and this year, we're sending the winners to an exclusive vegetarian hotel in the Lake District! If you send temperatures soaring wherever you go – with both sizzling looks and a heart of gold – enter our contest, and you might be selected as the hottest guy or gal around! Here's how it will work: A committee will narrow down the entrants to 16 male and 16 female finalists, which will be announced on PETA's websites on 20 February 2009, and people around the world will be able to vote for the hottest in four rounds of head-to-head match-ups. The winners will then be announced on 2 April. Now, on to the important part – the prize! The male and female winners will each receive a romantic getaway for two to an exclusive hotel in the Lake District. And the best part? It's all vegetarian, with vegan options for everything! Set in the countryside and steeped in history, Lancrigg Vegetarian Country House Hotel once entertained the likes of the Romantic poets, and William Wordsworth himself wrote his prelude in the woods. Relax in front of the log fire in the evenings after a four-course dinner, and stroll through the luscious surrounding landscape of rolling hills and peaceful valleys. The spacious rooms are decked out in beautiful antique furniture and have gorgeous views, so it promises to be a very romantic holiday indeed! Sorry! The entry round has ended.
