Read about how Traci and former housemates Dennis and Jodie have helped PETA to help animals:
Housemate Traci Bingham isn't shy about revealing body parts – but she draws the line at eating them. The shapely Baywatch babe traded in her signature red bathing suit to star in PETA's ad that encourages people to consider the animals behind the entrées. Posing for the ad with the tagline “All Animals Have the Same Parts – Have a Heart: Go Vegetarian”, Bingham said, “Animals aren't 'breasts' or 'thighs' or 'flanks', they think, feel and want to live, much like you and me.”

Housemate Dennis Rodman was the first man – and the first athlete – to pose naked for PETA's “I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” series, which has also featured Pamela Anderson, Kim Basinger and Christy Turlington. In his provocative ad, which uses the tagline “Think Ink, Not Mink” in reference to his numerous tattoos, Rodman urges, “Be comfortable in your own skin and let the animals keep theirs.” After watching Pamela Anderson's three-minute video that shows how animals live and die before they are made into fur coats, Rodman said: “If you actually look at [the video] firsthand, it gives you a different perspective on animals and how they’re treated. … It's heart-wrenching to see what they go through.”Watch backstage footage of this groundbreaking PETA photo shoot.
Former Housemate Jodie Marsh proved how much animals play a part in her life by donning a sexy “chickette” costume to launch PETA's “I Am Not a Nugget” ad campaign on the London Underground in November. Growing up with every type of animal imaginable – from a guinea pig to a pot-bellied pig – Jodie has been an animal lover and vegetarian since she was a little girl. “I don't eat any animals – I could never eat a dog, and I don't see how a chicken, a cow, a sheep, a pig or anything else is any different because all animals have a mind and a personality”, says Marsh. “It's so easy to be vegetarian. Everywhere you go, every shop you go in, every restaurant you go in has vegetarian food.”
