Vegans are taking over the UK and Ireland! On the streets, in magazines and on television, radiant, compassionate vegans are proving that a clear conscience and a healthful, plant-filled diet are what’s hot in 2016.

PETA’s annual competition seeks out the vegans who dazzle the most – with their fabulous good looks and compassionate hearts –  and who use the attention that they get to speak out most compellingly for animals. Do you have what it takes?

Details on entering the contest are provided below. In addition to acquiring a covetable title, each winner will receive a one-night stay and vegan breakfast for two at the luxury boutique hotel La Suite West in London with dinner prepared by vegan Head Chef Nik Heartland at its vegan restaurant, RAW.

Plus, everyone who wants to help celebrate the competition can get a 10 per cent discount when they book a dinner at RAW before 31 August 2016 simply by mentioning PETA’s Hottest Vegan competition at the time of booking.

The entry round ends on 29 May 2016. Two factors will be given consideration by PETA in its selection of finalists: PETA’s assessment of the enthusiasm demonstrated by each qualified entrant in promoting vegan eating and PETA’s assessment of each qualified entrant’s attractiveness. The finalists will be announced by 3 June 2016. Public voting to help PETA decide whom it will choose as the winners will begin by 3 June 2016 and end on 17 June 2016. Three factors will be given consideration by PETA in its selection of the two winners (one male and one female): the number of public votes received by each finalist, PETA’s assessment of the enthusiasm demonstrated by each finalist in promoting vegan eating and, of course, PETA’s assessment of each finalist’s attractiveness. The winners will be notified and announced on 21 June 2016.

Each winner will receive a one-night stay and vegan breakfast for two at the La Suite West hotel in London along with dinner at the hotel’s vegan restaurant, RAW, between 11 July and 30 December 2016, subject to availability. Accommodation booking must be confirmed at least 14 days in advance. If the winner cancels the booking, rescheduling must be arranged with the management, and cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance may result in forfeiture of the prize. All expenses other than those noted above are excluded (including but not limited to incidentals, gratuities, deposits, meals, amenity fees and other charges incurred at the accommodation; transportation; travel insurance; souvenirs; sales and other taxes and surcharges).
