£1,000 REWARD OFFERED TO HELP FIND THUG WHO BEHEADED CAT

Group Warn That Animal Abusers Are a Serious Threat to Whole Community and Likely to Escalate Behaviour Unless Stopped

Bristol – PETA is offering a reward of up to £1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the beheading of a family’s cat in Bristol. The incident is believed to have occurred near the family’s home on Shadwell Road on 6 May.

Would you please share this information with your audience to help apprehend those responsible for this cruel act?

“It is imperative that any community faced with sadistic and violent acts such as this take measures to find the culprit or culprits and bring them to justice”, says PETA spokesperson Elisa Allen. “Animal abusers are a danger to everyone – they take their issues out on whoever is available to them, human or non-human, and must be caught before they act again.”

History shows that past incidents involving cruelty to animals regularly appear in the records of serial rapists and murderers. Young killers Mary Bell, Robert Thompson and Jon Venables as well as serial murderers Ian Huntley, Thomas Hamilton (the Dunblane massacre), Fred West, Dennis Nilsen, Ian Brady and Raoul Moat all started out by deliberately harming animals.

Anyone with information about this case is encouraged to contact the police on 101 quoting reference number 46609-15.
