AMANDA HOLDEN BARES ALL IN FRESH NEW CAMPAIGN TO PROMOTE VEGETARIAN EATING

‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Judge Is a Natural Beauty in Un-Retouched PETA Ad

London – Lying naked on a bed fresh green vegetables below the words “Go Veggie – Your Body Will Love You for It”, Amanda Holden stars in a hot new campaign for PETA. The ad goes on to point out that vegetarians are, on average, slimmer than meat-eaters and have lower rates of heart disease and cancer. And the 45-year-old vegetarian star’s toned physique, which is 100 per cent un-retouched, speaks a for itself. The ad, available here, was shot by top photographer Trevor Leighton.

“My vegetarian lifestyle keeps my body trim, gives me loads of energy and makes me feel happy. So when PETA suggested not retouching this image, I said, “Why not?” – the image is as natural as my lifestyle.”

“I have been a vegetarian since I was 13 …. For me, there are many benefits …. My skin’s always good. I never feel bloated”, explains Holden in an exclusive video interview with PETA. “The best thing you can do for animals is to just leave them off your plate”.

Going vegetarian isn’t only good for your health. Each person who goes vegetarian drastically reduces his or her carbon footprint and spares many animals every year immense suffering on factory farms, in abattoirs and on the decks of fishing boats.

Holden is part of a growing list of celebrities – including Vivienne Westwood, Sir Paul McCartney, John Bishop, Pamela Anderson, Lucy Watson and many more – who have teamed up with PETA (whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to eat”) to promote meat-free meals.
