PETA Offers £1,000 To Help Find Barbaric Criminals Who Sliced Legs Off Live Sheep During Nighttime Raids

Stockport, Manchester – PETA is offering a reward of up to £1,000 for information leading to the conviction of the person or persons who carved the legs off young ewes, some of them pregnant, on Lion House Farm in Cheadle Hulme. In a series of three attacks on the same farm in a month, 11 sheep have been killed. It is suspected that the sheep were rounded up by dogs and that several were still alive when their limbs were hacked off.

“It is imperative that any community faced with such horrific abuse of animals take measures to find the culprit or culprits and stop the violence”, says PETA spokesperson Ben Williamson. “Animal abusers are a danger to everyone – they take their issues out on whoever is available to them, human or non-human.”
