Patriotic PETA Members Promote Meat-Free Meals Outside the Tower of London Before St George’s Day

London – With their slender bodies painted to look like Yeomen Warders’ uniforms, two sexy PETA “Beefeaters” – both vegans – stood outside the Tower of London with signs reading, “Beefeaters: No! Vegans: Yes, Please!” on Tuesday morning, one day before St George’s Day, to encourage their fellow citizens to kick their meat-eating habit for their health, the environment, animals and England.

“As St George showed us, humans will go to extremes to save their own lives, but our nation’s addiction to the fatty flesh in burgers and bangers is hurting – not helping – England”, says sexy 23 year old PETA “Beefeater” Loretta Hope from Redditch. “We are here to let our fellow citizens know that vegans are, on average, 10 to 20 pounds lighter than meat-eaters are – and since they’re not contributing to animal suffering, their consciences are lighter, too!”

Meat, eggs and dairy products – all of which contain cholesterol and saturated fat – are the main culprits in the obesity epidemic, which contributes to England’s top killers: heart attacks, strokes, diabetes and cancer. Also, each vegan can save many animals from immense suffering and a terrifying death on factory farms, in abattoirs and on the decks of fishing boats.
