It’s a side of Joss Stone you’ve never seen before: the singer appears as a crocodile, with tears running down her face and a scared look in her eyes.

The soul singer teamed up with us for our new advert, photographed by Andrzej Dragan, exposing the terror that all exotic animals feel when they’re killed for their skin.

“Although I’m not as familiar with crocodiles as I am with dogs and horses, I know that all animals are capable of suffering. I hope when people see footage of what happens to crocodiles and alligators killed for their skin to be turned into handbags, they’ll join me in leaving wildlife out of their wardrobes

Joss Stone PETA photoshoot

This advert comes on the heels of a PETA exposé that revealed the horrific conditions of the supply farms used by Hermès. On these farms, alligators and crocodiles are trapped in barren, crowded pits. The reptiles are shot with captive-bolt guns and stabbed with box cutters but are often still alive and moving after these crude attempts at slaughter.

Join Joss Stone and PETA in speaking up for exotic animals today by telling Hermès to stop using animal skins:

Stop hurting animals! They are just like us but they are not cruel.

Australian crocodiles-“salties” were a protected species; but in the Northern Territories and northern Queensland they are The Apex Predator – only killed by Man. Breeding unchecked Salties are the largest Reptile on Earth-33 Feet long and 2 Tons wringing wet. Now Crocodile Farms are allowed to breed and kill crocs for Handbags, belts etc. the way they are killed and handled should be strictly regulated like Cattle, Sheep etc.

Well done Joss Stone. You young people are a huge asset to our world. Keep up the good work.
Hermes destroyers – stop your sickening use of animal skins to sell your products. We do not use our skins, its would be bestial, so it is using other animal skins. GIVE IT UP! It is despicable and savage. Your bags exude the odour of cruelty and death.
