Urge These Fast-Food Chains to Up Their Vegan Game
Cows, pigs, chickens, and other animals killed for meals at fast-food joints need our help now. Having vegan options available at popular chains like McDonald’s would make it easier to find tasty, animal-friendly food on the go – and it could also encourage meat-eaters, many of whom have never set foot in a vegan restaurant, to try out plant-based foods.
When you’re out and about and need something pronto, chains like Pizza Hut, Costa, and Wagamama have exciting vegan dishes and menus at the ready. Vegan eating is on the rise in the UK, as more and more people are choosing plant-based foods to protect animals and the environment. But some of the top fast-food outlets are lagging behind, offering few or no plant-based options.
We think it’s time that these chains joined the vegan revolution, don’t you?
How You Can Help
When you ask, they listen! Last year, 20,000 of you urged Greggs to add a vegan sausage roll to its menu – and now, your local branch has this iconic option. Let’s use our power once again: simply tweet the chains listed below to ask them to offer vegan versions of popular dishes.
We’ve suggested some tweets, so this should only take a couple of seconds, but also feel free to write your own.
