For introducing droves of people to delicious, protein-packed vegan meals, the Sir Lewis Hamilton–backed Neat Burger has won PETA’s inaugural Company of the Year Award.

Neat Burger: Leading the UK Towards a Vegan Future – One Burger at a Time

Neat Burger’s modern twists on fast-food classics – including the SMASH Burger with all the trimmings, the crispy Filet-No-Fish burger, and its variety of dreamy, creamy dairy-free shakes – are already winning praise from Camden to Victoria, and with 30 new eateries on the way, it’s the UK’s fastest-growing vegan restaurant chain. Neat Burger is dishing up the delicious plant-powered fare that modern diners crave.

For November, in honour of World Vegan Month, Neat Burger offered its vegan cheeseburger for just £1.99, giving even more diners an opportunity to try a meat-free meal.

The future is vegan, and Neat Burger is leading the UK towards it. Millions of British people are eating more plant-based food, and a 2021 survey by BBC Good Food found that more than 20% of children aged 5 to 16 in the UK are either already vegan or would like to become vegan in the near future.

He’s a Game Changer

Hamilton’s vegan advocacy previously landed him the title of PETA’s 2018 Person of the Year.

Among other efforts, he has repeatedly stressed the health benefits of going vegan, pointed out how the meat industry harms animals, and was one of the executive producers of The Game Changers, the hard-hitting documentary about vegan eating, protein, and strength.

Inspired by Hamilton?

Each person who goes vegan spares the lives of nearly 200 animals every year; reduces their risk of suffering from heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and cancer; and helps prevent future pandemics. SARS, swine flu, bird flu, and COVID-19 all stemmed from confining and killing animals for food.
