Rest in Peace, Giorgio Armani
Over the years, Giorgio Armani earned numerous accolades – including a PETA Fashion Award for his bold decision to eliminate cruelly produced animal fur from his designs. A towering figure in fashion history, within just a few seasons of his fur ban, most other brands followed suit, transforming industry standards.
He also extended his ethical leadership by removing angora wool – fleece torn from fully conscious rabbits – from his collections.
We are calling on Armani Group to honour his legacy by ending the use of wild-animal skins, something the nature-loving “Il Maestro” was reportedly considering before his passing.
