Vegan Cheese Is Coming to Pizza Express!

Nationwide Italian chain Pizza Express has got vegans everywhere seriously excited by announcing the release of a new vegan cheese pizza – as well as the option of vegan cheese across its pizza menu.

The Vegan Giardiniera will be available at all UK Pizza Express locations from 20 June. This delicious new pizza will be topped with olives, artichoke, asparagus, and non-dairy mozzarella-style cheese.

You’ll also be able to order any pizza from the menu with vegan cheese. Pianta with cheese, anyone?

PETA gave Pizza Express a Proggy Award in 2007 for its commitment to providing customers with vegan dishes and a few years ago they launched the vegan Pianta pizza, but now the chain is taking an even bigger step forward by offering its customers delicious dairy-free cheese.

Pizza Express is joining the likes of Firezza, Zizzi, ASK Italian, and numerous independent pizzerias that are offering vegan cheese. It’s never been easier to eat out and find meat- and dairy-free dishes wherever you go!
