From Salami Sticks to Kefir: The Best Veganuary Launches 2026
It’s officially a new year, meaning it’s time to start fresh, deep-clean the house, start learning that musical instrument you’re always talking about, and – of course – spend the entire month of January eating every single new vegan food in sight. Here are the best Veganuary launches for 2026.
January is a time when many people decide to go vegan for the good of their health, the planet, and the animals. If you’ve been toying with the idea of adopting a cruelty-free diet, it’s not too late to remove animals from your plate today (and order our free Vegan Starter Kit while you’re at it).
La Vie Salami Sticks

Have you been waiting your entire vegan life for animal-free salami sticks? Us too! Thankfully, you can now pick up a six-pack of La Vie Salami Sticks. Unlike other products you’ll find on the shelf, these dry-cured meat sticks don’t contain any pigs or cancer-causing nitrites.
The latest offering from French brand La Vie, which also offers a range of vegan bacon products, is not only high in protein (with 36g per 100g), but also emits 88% less CO2 than meat products. A win-win for animals and the planet!
Aldi Croissants and Pains Au Chocolat

Vegan pastry fans, rejoice! The iconic Aldi vegan croissants and pains au chocolat are back for another year. Aldi first launched what it calls “the cheapest vegan pastries” at UK supermarkets in 2022, and it unveils the products every January as a Veganuary food launch. Due to their huge popularity, we hope to see them as a permanent fixture.
Other Launches from Aldi
Aldi undoubtedly wins the Best Veganuary Launches Medal this year. Check out the return of its Snickers- and Mars-style ice creams, Racer and Titan, as well as a new Salted Caramel Choc Spread. Other new additions at Aldi include No Lamb and Mint Pies and Mushroom, Garlic, and Herb Vegetable Popcorn Bites. And 2026 will forever be known as the year of vegan salami sticks – as Aldi has joined La Vie in launching its salami-style Snackin’ Sticks.
Marks and Spencer Kefir, Almond Spread, and More

M&S has treated us to a huge line-up of Veganuary 2026 launches – including vegan meats and dairy-free drinks. Options include Mushroom No-Meatballs, No Chicken Pieces, Almond Creamy Spread, and Almond Strawberry Yogurt. We’re particularly excited by the Coconut Kefir – a plant-based take on the fermented milk drink.
BOSH! Ready Meals

Plant-based recipe duo Ian Theasby and Henry Firth, otherwise known as BOSH!, have added more offerings to their wholesome, nutritious, and tasty ready meal line-up. First up is Tofu Tikka Masala, a protein-packed, plant-based upgrade. You can also try the Hearty Lasagne, which features a deliciously creamy sauce with rich vegetable and soya protein ragu. The Comforting Veg Pie is next on the list, a classic British comfort food dish complete with lentils and potato.
Richmond Veggie Sausages

Richmond’s Meat-Free Sausages have achieved icon status since their launch in 2019. Now, the company is adding another product to its plant-based line-up – and it’s great news for vegetable fans. The Veggie Tasty Sausages feature sweetcorn, carrots, peas, and broccoli as their main ingredients. They’re distinctly less ‘meaty’ than the Meat-Free option, but are perfect for those who love to load up on the veg.
Juicy Marbles Umami Burger

Slovenian animal-free brand Juicy Marbles has shifted its focus from meat-inspired vegan products to create its whole-foods-based Umami Burger. Described as “The veggie burger to top all veggie burgers,” the fermented patty features ingredients such as quinoa, miso paste, chickpeas, and sunflower protein.
Wagamama Vegan Carbonara

Wagamama has treated us to perhaps the most unexpected Veganuary 2026 new food product: a Japanese-Italian reimagination of the classic carbonara. The udonara features thick udon noodles coated in a creamy sauce and topped with crispy vegan bacon, king oyster mushrooms, and coriander cress. There’s also a new side in town – a Mexican-inspired tacomama. It uses an open gyoza wrapper in place of a taco shell, and is loaded with teriyaki mushrooms, Korean-style sweet potato mash, mixed leaves, vegan mayo, and pomegranate.
Subway Falafel Sandwich

Subway has announced the launch of a Smashed Falafel sandwich. You can pair it with dairy-free cheese, plant-based sauces like Teriyaki, Garlic & Herb, Marinara, Sriracha, Salsa, and Sticky Sweet Chilli, as well as your favourite salad options. You’ll have to be quick, though, as this sandwich is just a trial for now – available until the end of March
allplants Tofu Goujons, Veggie Tempeh, and More

Popular vegan meal delivery service — and PETA Vegan Food Award winner — allplants has added several delicious new products to its lineup. Our highlights are the Tofu Goujons and Veggie Tempeh, both of which make for an excellent protein-packed snack or addition to your meal. Vegan burgers, including the Sweet Potato and Black Bean, and the Chickpea, Pea, and Lemon Zest, are also available.
Beyond Tenders – Chicken-style

Beyond Meat has added yet another vegan meat to UK supermarket shelves – Chicken-Style Plant-Based Breaded Strips. Each serving offers 15g of protein with a taste that could fool your pre-vegan friends. They’re perfect for anyone new to plant-based eating or taking on PETA’s January Vegan Challenge.
Symplicity Burgers, Sausages, and More
Vegan burgers, sausages, and vegetable ‘nduja made from fermented mushrooms and veggies? Yes please! These herby, umami products are packed with protein and perfect for those who prefer whole-foods-based options to traditional vegan meats. Chef Neil Rankin’s Symplicity products are already on the menu at several eateries in the UK, but this is the first time they’ve been available at supermarkets.
Deliciously Ella Coated Bars

Deliciously Ella has expanded its snack bar range – and it’s good news for sweet tooths. The Chocolate Topped Oat Bars come in two flavours, Raspberry and Raisin, and both feature tasty and fibre-packed oats coated in a smooth layer of dark chocolate.
GRUBBY New Dishes

Plant-based recipe subscription kit service GRUBBY has launched its biggest menu yet for Veganuary 2026 – customers can choose from a whopping 144 recipes from 5 January. The recipes include 10 incredible new specials as part of its Global Flavours range, featuring cuisines from Thailand, Mexico, and India. GRUBBY also collaborated with BOSH! to produce 10 recipes, featuring highlights such as Crispy Tempeh Tacos with Peanut & Sesame Salsa Macha, Tofu Curry Udon Noodles, and Chipotle Meaty Mushroom Tacos.
Bagel Factory BBQ Jack

This flavourful vegan bagel features pulled jackfruit (a fruit with a meaty texture that absorbs flavours well) alongside pickled red onion, crispy fried onion, and mustard. It all comes wrapped in a double-hash stack bagel. If you want to try the bagel you’ll have to be quick – this is a limited-edition option for Veganuary only.
