Royal Albert Hall, London

From dance and ballet to comedy and live music, London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall offers plenty of choice for a romantic night out. Tasty vegan options can be found throughout the hall’s various eateries, ranging from casual light bites to elegant three-course meals. The Elgar Room brasserie’s roast gnocchi with coconut cream sauce is a highlight, and there’s also an exquisite vegan afternoon tea, with sandwiches like whipped vegan feta, tomato chutney, and black olive crumbs as well as grilled aubergine, baba ganoush, sumac onions, rocket, and piquillo pepper. Sweet treats include vegan scones, tea cakes, and a slice from the cake trolley. Wow!

This chain of elegant bars is serious about the art of crafting cocktails – and it’s got an impressive array of vegan food treats, too. You’ll want to visit again (and again) to try it all. Small plates include vegetable gyozas, cauliflower bites, and Salt and Shake potatoes. Main dishes include katsu curry with crispy smoked tofu, bang bang salad, and Plant Burger featuring a Moving Mountains patty. The Botanist, Nationwide

With 24 locations across the UK, this swanky bar and restaurant makes for a great date night thanks to its extensive choice of tasty vegan cocktails and food. The mezze board – with green falafel, tzatziki, houmous, and flatbread – is great for couples to share, while mains include a mushroom bourguignon pie and a Forager’s Feast burger – roasted portobello and pulled shiitake mushrooms – topped with vegan cheese, celeriac and apple slaw, and crispy onions. And there’s a raspberry and vanilla vegan cheesecake, too, alongside a plethora of cocktails with vegan labelling to help you choose – cheers to that!
The Cheese Cellar, London

Born out of the world’s first vegan cheese monger, The Cheese Cellar offers a delightful vegan cheese and wine tasting evening for an indulgent date night. The menu showcases La Fauxmagerie’s mouth-watering cheeses, including Shoreditch Smoked, PETA’s award-winning Brixton Blue, Summer Truffle, and more. Our favourite dish on offer? The Showstopper sharing plate: roasted Camemvert, fresh rosemary, and vegan honey with soft sourdough for dipping. What’s more, you can buy your favourite cheeses to enjoy at home.
The O2 Arena, London

Vegan options abound at the concession stands throughout the arena, so you’ll have plenty of animal-free fare to choose from whichever show, match, or exhibition you and your date attend. As a showcase of just how tasty (and sustainable) its vegan menu items are, the arena only served vegan food during Billie Eilish’s 2022 and 2025 performances. And The O2 isn’t the only sports and entertainment stadium that offers tasty vegan options: from Wimbledon’s vegan strawberries and cream to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium’s Smashed Simplicity Mushroom burger and chips, you can discover more of the vegan delights at UK sports venues here.
