‘The Apprentice’ Star Has a Holiday Surprise for Fur-Peddling Harvey Nichols
Harvey Nichols is on this Santa’s “naughty” list. Although the shop previously maintained a celebrated fur-free policy for a decade, it started selling fur again this year. With the chain’s profits plummeting, Steven Ugoalah, the star of this season’s The Apprentice, dressed as Santa and was joined by two PETA “elves” as he paid Harvey Nichols’ Knightsbridge shop a visit and offered some seasonal business advice. “Supporting the cruel fur trade is not only bad business – as Harvey Nichols is learning – but also utterly shameful”, Steven said. “My friends at PETA and I are calling on Harvey Nichols to do the right thing for animals by dropping fur for good – and we’re encouraging holiday shoppers to stay away from the store until it does.”
