Marathon for Animals: Make the Most of Your Fundraising
PETA relies entirely on donations from our generous supporters, so every penny you raise during the Marathon for Animals will make a huge difference to the lives of animals around the world. These vital funds will boost our life-saving campaigns, including our video exposés of animal-exploiting industries and our work to develop and promote state-of-the-art non-animal testing methods.
We understand that fundraising can be difficult, so we’re here to help make it fun and achievable by giving you some of our top tips, tricks, and tools.
Remember Why You’re Asking
Feeling apprehensive about asking friends and family for money? Just remember that you’re asking for animals, not yourself. Countless animals desperately need our help, so always have them in mind when asking your loved ones to make a generous donation.
Share, Share, Share
The more you share the link to your fundraiser, the more people you’ll reach and the more money you’ll raise. You can share it through a variety of social media platforms as well as by e-mail, by text, and over good old-fashioned phone calls.
Make It Personal
When you share, let your loved ones know how much this cause means to you and why, and don’t forget those progress updates!
