And the 2017 Great Vegan Bake-Off Winner is …

… Lorna Songhurst for her indulgent raw chocolate-orange layer cake topped with fluffy chocolate mousse!

Lorna is the founder of Totally Nuts by Blue-Milk catering company in Sevenoaks, Kent, and her cake wowed voters and PETA judges alike. The decadent layers topped with chocolate mousse and chocolate-orange truffles had us salivating, and the addition of vegan honeycomb is both unexpected and inspired.

We were inundated with terrific cruelty-free dishes this year. Bakers from all backgrounds put their skills to the test and shared with us their favourite vegan creations.

Thank you to everyone who entered and to the hundreds of vegan baking fans who voted to help us decide whom we should choose as the winner.
