MANCHESTER LOCAL IS ONE OF PETA US’ ‘HOTTEST VEGAN FIREFIGHTERS’

Animal Charity Praises the 14 Firefighters Who Are Saving Even More Lives by Choosing a Vegan Diet

Manchester – PETA US has named the Hottest Vegan Firefighters from all over the world, and sizzling Manchester resident Chris Foott has nabbed a spot on the list. Not only is this inspirational firefighter vegan, he’s also one of the founders and organisers of Manchester Pig Save.

Image is also available here.

Shortly after deciding to go vegan to improve his health, Foott learned about the environmental and ethical issues surrounding the factory-farming industry and has since become a vegan activist. He has also inspired one of his colleagues to ditch meat. Since switching to plant-based eating, his sinuses feel clearer, he’s able to breathe through his nostrils more easily, he’s stopped feeling bloated, and he’s lost body fat.

“As a vegan firefighter, Chris is ready to save animals from burning buildings and saves as many as 100 animals a year from being killed for food,” says PETA US Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. “Every firefighter in PETA US’ Hottest Vegan Firefighters feature shows how smoking-hot, strong, and sweet vegans can be.”

PETA – whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to eat” – offers free vegan starter kits to people who want to be life-savers for animals by going vegan, just like their local firefighting heroes.

Foott is available for interviews. For more information, please visit PETA.org.uk.
