EAT. Veggie Festive Bloomer

@eat_news have released there Veggie Festive Bloomer AND IT'S AWESOME ✊ Mushroom, chestnut & walnut stuffing (a good amount of it) 🍄🌰, roast spiced carrot ribbons (taste like cinnamon, or nutmeg, or something Christmassy), cranberry sauce 🍒, parsnip purée and spinach 🌱 all wedged in between multiseed bloomer slices that are chewy and encrusted with oats. 😩💦 We're fussy with sandwiches but this is 👌👌. Full-on Christmas music in the café is our only criticism 🎅🏻 surely 24 days is enough build-up, does anyone want to start a petition to ban festive music before December 1st? 😬 EAT. has branches around London and a few other new vegan options we haven't tried yet 😍 #vegansofldn 📸: @gymfreebunny 🍞

The Sainsbury’s mince pies aren’t marked vegan, but I didn’t get a chance to go through the ingredients to find out why (I work at a Sainsbury’s and was spying on some that a customer was buying).

Bizarrely none of the Mr Kipling fruit pies are vegan except the Apple and Blackberry and exactly the same applies to the supermarket own brands too which I presume are made by Mr K, because they also contain milk – WHY ! But I found milk free and therefore vegan Apple pies in Lidl yesterday and they taste fine
