New vegan products are taking the world by storm – and Ireland is no exception.

Moodley Manor was launched in 2014 by two vegans who loved the taste – but not the cruelty – of meat and wanted to bring delicious vegan meats to Ireland. The brand was the country’s first producer of vegan bacon and now offers a range of products, including sausages, burgers, mayo, and roasts. Yum! Cofounder Aisling Mooney told us more about the company’s vision:

People sometimes think that by going vegan, they’ll be missing out – but not so! We set out to make vegan versions of traditional meaty foods that happen to be high in protein and full of flavour but taste like a naughty treat – without harming a single living being. That’s the meaning behind our motto: “All Taste … No Sacrifice”.
