Vegan Goodies! Enter PETA’s ‘Vegan Eats and Treats’ Contest for a Chance to Win

You know the facts: vegans save animals, have a reduced risk of developing many serious diseases, and don’t contribute to the catastrophic levels of water pollution and greenhouse-gas emissions caused by meat, egg, and dairy production.

But sometimes, it takes more than facts and powerful images to inspire someone to eat compassionately – it takes great cruelty-free meals. That’s why PETA is launching the Vegan Eats and Treats contest!

Make (or buy) a vegan meal and snap a photo of yourself sharing it at the office, a family gathering, or another event for a chance to win a year’s subscription to TheVeganKind’s monthly Lifestyle Box! Each box is brimming with tasty treats like Alfredo mac and cheese, organic porridge, hummus chips, chilli lemon crisps, salty almond Swiss chocolate bars, and more. To enter, send the photo and a description (in 50 words or fewer) of what you served, where you served it, and how people reacted to [email protected] by 30 September 2018. Only residents of the United Kingdom are eligible to enter.

Food brings people together and has the power to change minds, so you’ll become a vegan influencer by cooking and sharing it with friends. Appeal to those with a sweet tooth by taking vegan desserts to gatherings and events, or take a bevy of Iceland’s No Bull Burgers to help wow your neighbours at your next street party. You could inspire people by making vegan dishes for your next dinner party to help demystify vegan cooking, or host your own vegan birthday buffet so that everyone in your life can experience how delicious vegan food can be. The possibilities are endless.
