Join These Businesses in Celebrating World Vegan Month

World Vegan Month is here, and this year, it’s bigger than ever! Check out these companies, which are helping everyone choose delicious vegan options that are kind to animals.

Bross Bagels

All three locations in Edinburgh served 100% vegan food and drinks on World Vegan Day (1 November). The restaurants’ standard menus include epic vegan bagel fillings such as THIS Isn’t Chicken, plant-based Lorne sausage, and Applewood vegan cheese.

Cardiff University

On World Vegan Day, the university opened Green Shoots Cafe, the first vegetarian café on campus, which also serves vegan options. And to celebrate World Vegan Month, there will be vegan events including food giveaways, a three-course dinner, and live cookery demonstrations.

Councils

Winchester City Council and Salford City Council are encouraging residents to do their bit for the planet by recommending that they take PETA’s World Vegan Month Challenge.

PETA and Deliveroo have teamed up this World Vegan Month to make it easy for everyone to choose vegan takeaways.

Hampden Park, home of the Scottish national football team, has opened three new vegan kiosks to celebrate World Vegan Month.

To celebrate World Vegan Month, the budget supermarket is offering students 50% off a huge range of vegan products from top brands including Oumph!, Like Meat, Fry’s, and No Meat. To receive the discount, you’ll need a student ID and the Iceland Bonus Card app.

All the food was vegan at the university’s Campaign for COP26 fortnight of events this autumn, focused on tackling the climate emergency.

Roadchef has added new vegan options at its Fresh Food Café at larger motorway service stations for World Vegan Month. Try the cooked breakfast, hot dog, Keralan cauliflower curry, and more.

The supermarket has slashed the price of many Plant Chef products in order to make vegan foods more accessible and to help people make greener choices.

Uber Eats

Uber Eats is partnering with PETA during World Vegan Month to promote its sensational selection of plant-powered takeaways. The company is also sharing our free vegan starter kit with its customers to help them make compassionate choices every mealtime.

All food outlets went meat-free for World Vegan Day, and the university even gave out free vegan beetroot brownies to celebrate.
