SEXY LETTUCE-CLAD DUO SERVE UP TASTY VEGAN HOT DOGS AT FORMER BUTCHER SHOP

PETA Beauties Team Up With Cole & Sons Deli to Launch Meat-Free Delight

London – Former London butcher shop Cole & Sons Deli is launching a tasty meat-free hot Vegan Def Grip dog from Big Apple Hot Dogs. And to help celebrate the introduction of the delectable treat, two sexy PETA “Lettuce Ladies” – wearing bikinis made of strategically placed lettuce leaves – served up free samples to passers-by today, along with a reminder that swapping meat for vegan foods is the best thing that people can do for their health, animals and the environment.

Photos are available herehere and here.

“Londoners who take PETA’s ladies up on their tasty offer will see firsthand that getting a trim and sexy figure can be as easy as reaching for a vegan lunch”, says PETA campaigner Kirsty Henderson. “Vegan foods are a simple way to shrink waistlines and carbon footprints and spare animals suffering in the meat industry.”

Vegan hot dogs contain roughly a third of the fat and calories of their fleshy counterparts – and they help prevent animals from enduring extreme suffering on factory farms and in abattoirs. They’re also “greener”, as the meat industry is a leading cause of environmental devastation, including greenhouse-gas emissions. PETA – whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to eat” – encourages all caring people to replace meat with tasty vegan meals.
