PETA’s Most Beautiful Vegan Celebrities of 2019 Are …
The time has come for PETA to crown the Most Beautiful Vegan Celebrities of 2019, and this year’s titles are going to James Arthur and Jessie J.
Not only are they two of the UK’s biggest chart-topping artists, they’re also proud vegans who sing the praises of plant-based eating – and that’s music to PETA’s ears.
James and Jessie are living proof that sticking up for others is the stuff of real beauty. PETA encourages all kind people to take a page out of their songbooks and choose vegan food and animal-free clothing and entertainment.
James, who’s been vegan for two and a half years, is a vocal advocate of the benefits of plant-based eating – and this year, he even teamed up with Twisted to create a recipe for his favourite hangover food, a vegan “Big Mac”.

He went vegan after watching the documentary What the Health, and making the switch has helped him lose weight and “feel energized”.
“There’s a misconception that you’ve got to get all your protein from meat, but the meat gets the protein from plants.”
– James Arthur
Jessie has been vegan for almost a year and credits her plant-based diet with helping her manage chronic pain from fertility issues. She’s also been known to share delicious vegan meals and cooking inspiration with her 8.7 million followers on social media.
Her other animal advocacy efforts include spreading the vegan message while singing on Channel 4’s The Lateish Show With Mo Gilligan and sitting down for an exclusive interview with leading vegan news platform Plant Based News.
