Happy Vegetarian Awareness Month

Yesterday saw World Vegetarian Day arrive, which kicks off Vegetarian Awareness Month – a whole month of opportunities to try something new and learn just how great a meat-free diet can be! So many compassionate celebs (and PETA supporters) have already made the decision to ditch meat, including Pamela Anderson, Sir Paul McCartney, Eliza Doolittle, Owain Yeoman, Leona Lewis, Bryan Adams, Russell Brand, and Chantelle Houghton – who recently launched our brand-new vegetarian/vegan starter kit.

What better time to give it a shot than on World Vegetarian Day? We promise a whole new world of culinary delights awaits you! And if you think it means waving goodbye to your Sunday roast, think again! If you’ve already made the switch to a vegetarian or vegan diet, then World Vegetarian Day is the perfect opportunity for you to spread the word to meat-eating family members and friends.

There are so many reasons to eliminate animal products from your diet. Aside from the obvious difference that you can make by helping to end animals’ suffering – by not eating meat, you will save the lives of 100 animals a year – you will also help the environment and your own health. So why not choose to make a positive change and take PETA’s 30-day pledge to go veg? Happy World Vegetarian Day, everyone!
