Vegan Caramel Almond Loaf

This vegan caramel almond loaf is a healthy treat the entire family will enjoy. Have it for breakfast or as a dessert.

  • 2 Tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 160 g apple sauce
  • 110 g Sweet Freedom CARAMEL SYRUP
  • 80 g nut butter
  • 2 Tbsp plant milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 50 g oat flour
  • 70 g plain flour
  • 10 g flaked almonds


In a small bowl, mix together the flaxseed and 6 tablespoonfuls water. Let sit for 10 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 170°C and line a loaf tin with baking parchment.

In a bowl, mix together the flaxseed, apple sauce, caramel syrup, nut butter, and plant milk. Then mix in the baking powder and flours. ⁠

Pour into the loaf tin and top with the flaked almonds.⁠

Bake for 35 minutes, or until golden. ⁠

Leave to cool in the tin for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
